It seems to me that in many cases the bitrate is known (ref: itunes ).
I think that the feature would be quite welcome as many people don't
like listening to 64kbps (gah!) streams. To handle cases where the
stream rate isn't known, have a user option to include/exclude them. As
an added bonus, once an unknown stream has been tuned, you can then
remember it.

Just a thought....
