Heh, I don't mind checking out streams that won't play, often times it
can reveal a rare bug.  This station,
http://english.aliant.net/asx/CJCB.asx, may not support HTTP streaming
as it currently returns "503 Service Unavailable".

Here are some things you can do to help out:

* Always test streams with the latest 6.5 nightly build.

* Run with debugging options --d_scan --d_parse --d_directstream. 
These will reveal a ton of useful information about the stream.

* For WMA, make sure WMA (built-in) is checked and that you aren't
using wmadec (or mplayer) to transcode.

BTW, I don't use any special tools to find URLs, I don't even use URL
snooper actually, since doing anything in Windows pains me ;)  Just a
good mix of HTML view source, wget, and tcpdump/ethereal if all else
fails.
