When I try it through SqueezeNetwork I first got a "No items in
playlist" then it tried for a long time to connect without success.

I believe the fact that not many streams from Canada work is that the
broadcasters just don't pay much attention to it and have very
low-capacity servers. It's one of those "golly-gee, look, we're in the
21st century!" kind of things to say you have but when it comes time to
actually spending money to increase reliability, that's where it falls
short."


I just tested and also get the same error messager when I try to stream
that URL though Squeezebox. Are you using 6.31 or 6.5b ?
Andy had mentioned it would work with 6.5B.

I haven't learned yet about SoftSqueeze being new here. Does
SoftSqueeze give you access to streams though a newwork meaning that PC
doesn't need to be on ?  I think I tried to install SoftSqueeze when i
first got Squeezebox but had problems installing.
