Returning to an earlier version does fix the problem. However, I'm
bound to FW42 and the new features that it brings  (see the DEQ2496 on
top).

I would really like someone else to confirm my findings, that it is in
fact the "display" command i'm using with CLI that screws up the
display. Anyone?
