These two are unrelated. The message you're seeing very likely is caused by eg. a web interface still running somewhere, requesting player data for a player which hasn't connected yet. This can happen when you restart a SC and the player takes a few seconds longer to connect than the web UI to request data about it. If it's only one or two of these at startup, they can be ignored.
