Will have to test browser compatibility. What you're seeing is the  
"showBriefly" message, which usually is displayed on the player's screen.  
Volume uses non-printable characters for the volume bar - which obviously  
can't be displayed in the browser. I have added some code to filter these  
out, but this seems to fail. Will have to test.
