[SlimDevices: Beta] 7.0.1~18932 Info problem

I have noticed that my string of odd characters (font) may not appear to
those using a windows PC to read the post.

The characters seem to be 16 bit, as shown below in hex:

001D 0003 0007 0008 0008 continued to fill the space available at the
bottom of the default screen.

A graphic showing the form of the characters is attached

The characters only appear when the volume is adjusted using the
remote. 

Any ideas?
