Haven't done any benchmarking yet. I'd be surprised if it was considerably faster/slower. I did see some cases where I thought it might be a bit faster. But most of the performance hit is due to the loading of the rather heavy library. This has not changed. Once everything's loaded next problem we've heard complaints about is the highlighting bar. This code hasn't changed a lot. Most of the changes are in the UI parts, buttons, window handling etc. which imho is not relevant performance wise. Updates are only done every few seconds.

Please let me know if you see any change, whether better or worse.
