[SlimDevices: Beta] 18702 - does not handle special characters

I downloaded the latest nightly 18702, I thought I had seen somewhere
that there had been a problem with international/special characters but
that it was fixed, but for me  no special Swedish characters work
(å,ä,ö), neither does "&" or "'". Am I the only one seeing this?
