[SlimDevices: Beta] 7.01 scan fails

I downgraded from 7.01 to 7.0 due to a myriad of bugs and now I can't
rescan my library. It will only rescan by reloading sc7 from scratch
but when I select rescan nothing happens. the scan log shows virtually
nothing.
