[SlimDevices: Beta] 7.0.1 Missing covers

I am still on 7.0.1 18235 (redhat) (from approx april 1st).

I update database every night (for new and changed data). I have added

a lot of cover art the last days and I discovered yesterday that not 
even accessing the database directly with SQL would show a valid cover

art id for certain (random) albums that had got a new "folder.jpg" 
in the directory (they did not have anything before).

Am I supposed to do a full rescan to get this in? Or are there known 
problems  with the scanning code that sets up the database? I knew the

Controller had problems showing cover art with the version of SC I am 
using, but I thought the problem  was in SC itself when retransfering
SQL 
data to the Controller. 

Any progress in later builds after 18235?
