To install the nightly, go to
http://www.slimdevices.com/downloads/nightly/

select the date you want and download the .deb using

wget
http://www.slimdevices.com/downloads/nightly/SqueezeCenter_trunk_v2008-04-04/squeezecenter_7.0.1~18355_all.deb

then open a terminal, cd to the directory where the deb file was
downloaded and type: sudo dpkg -i squeezecenter_7.0.1~18351_all.deb

This will install today's version.

Worked OK for me
