The only focus group that's been convened is the one you are  
participating in right now.  :)

Seriously, we're in the process of making our naming more consistent  
across all of our products and services.   The Slim brand/name is  
being retired and we'll be using the Squeeze prefix more.

To wit:

Squeezebox
SqueezeCenter
SqueezeNetwork

with more to come.  :)

Honestly, we've been fighting with names for a long time.  I can't  
tell you how many times over the years I've heard somebody refer to  
SqueezeServer or SlimBox.  It was really confusing people.

SqueezeServer was another name that we considered, but decided that  
the word "server" was a little too "geeky" and intimidating for our  
increasingly less tech-savvy customer base.

At first I didn't like SqueezeCenter much, but it's been growing on  
me quickly and now I'm very happy with it.
