[SlimDevices: Beta] 7 won't start on Ubuntu

I can't get 7.01a to install properly on my Ubuntu box. After "starting"
it doesn't appear the service is running. Upon typing "slimserver
status" I recieve...

I'm running 6.06 LTS.
