It only happens on my development machine, on the production machine I
don't get the getpeername messages. On the development machine they
come regularly at a 30 second interval.

The differences between the machines are:
Production Machine: Ubuntu Linux 6.06 (which contains perl 5.8.7
including Socket.pm 1.28), running SqueezeBox3

Development Machine: Ubuntu Linux 6.10 (which contains perl 5.8.8
including Socket.pm 1.29), running SoftSqueeze
