i don't follow you...

the \BLUES and \COMEDY and so on dirs are sub dirs of my main
D:\mp3home dir which i did tell SS is my music folder.

what would creating a shortcut do?

all the music in the sub-dirs shows up now...  i don't understand what
you're suggesting?
