[SlimDevices: Beta] Slimserver loses all my music on latest trunk :-(

I've just upgraded to the latest trunk.  After doing this, slimserver
has started to report my entire library as empty.  Rescans don't fix
the problem.  Can anyone offer any pointers?

Here's the log of a rescan (with scan debugging set to debug via the
web interface and without a server restart after the setting change -
not sure if it worked or not):

[11:34:01.5823] Slim::Schema::wipeCaches (1275) Wiped all in-memory
caches.

Suspiciously short!

My music library is almost entirely flac, with a few mp3s.  It's still
there(!) slimserver still has the right path and the slimserver user
still has appropriate permissions on it.

What do we want?  Smoother Analog VU with FLAC!
When do we want it?  At the soonest possible convenience to the
hard-working yet undervalued Slim Developers.  ;-)
