This morning my SB3 also died.  It was happily playing music when the screen suddenly turned black.  I couldn't hold down the power button to force it back to life - I had to recycle the power.  It then came back up reconnected fine.  I started playing random songs, and left it going.

I came home today to find that it had stopped playing music.  I remembered that I also have the Now Playing plugin, which I have configured to log each played song to a file.  Looking in the file, I see that it stopped playing at 12:45.  So it got a lot further than it has for a few days, but the problem is still there.  The log is interesting; there's a few repeated entries, some with the same timestamp:

This is a really annoying bug that I'd like to get to the bottom of.  Whilst I understand that there could be some wireless interference in my area that could occasionally cause problems, the squeezebox shouldn't end up in a state where it says it's playing but in fact it isn't.

Maybe I have too many plugins that do stuff when a song finishes, or before a song starts, and this work means that some timed event doesn't happen?  I'm going to try temporarily removing some more plugins to see if the problem happens less.
