[SlimDevices: Beta] Error in nightly 12-19-2007

Well, it does make the error message disappear. But if I set the log
level to "Debug" for "player.source," the error reappears. In both
cases, the MP3 file still does not play and causes popping.

I probably should have mentioned that these files which are causing
problems now played fine under 6.x releases.

If you'd like, I can send you one of these files and you can give it a
try.
