I have seen issues like this, too. It just seemed to take forever, but finally completed (<1 minute). Don't ask me why - I haven't found out yet. Strange thing is that it's behaving much better in the classic skin, although I haven't even customized the page for the new skin.

This I can't reproduce. It does work for (although, as I mentioned, it sometimes takes a moment).

I'll be working on the search today. So I hope to sort the issue out for the next nightly build.
