[SlimDevices: Beta] Is 7.0 still going beta today (8/17)?

I was wondering if 7.0 was still planned to go beta on 8/17?
If so how stable would you say it is?  Does it alter the DB or do
anything else that would make it difficult to go back to 6.5.4?
