[SlimDevices: Beta] Composer behaviour causes tracks to "disappear"

I'm pretty sure this is related to this:

The trunk has been "broken" for me since March 22nd and Dan's check-in
of svn 11662.  "Broken" in the sense that 95% of my albums  (which are
tagged with composer info) don't show up in the UI.  Fortunately, by
replacing Schema.pm with a version prior to that check-in, everything
works fine.

Note to KDF before he reflexively slaps my wrist for using the trunk: 
the trunk is the ONLY version of slimserver that supports the flac
PICTURE metadata for album art.  That's why I'm using it.
