Bingo. POD is the embedded documentation that results in the nice  
looking pages you find at CPAN.org. It also means you can have a nice  
man page already there with any module, without having to add any  
extra work beyond what would already be there if you add proper  
comments in code.

yeah...I wish that stuff would go away really.  most of it could  
easily link to the wiki/faq/forum
