[SlimDevices: Beta] Service Not Set to Automatic

Several days ago I installed a broken 6.5.1.  Finally got back to 6.5.0
after deleting lots of files before installing 6.5.0.  I never did
understand what was going on.

I then noticed that the slim service was set to manual.  I changed it
by hand.

This morning I installed 6.5.1 10/1 build.  After the install, in which
automatic start was checked, the service was set to manual.

Is there a pref that may have gotten munged?   Anyone else seeing
this?

This could be a real problem for users not familiar with the services
pannel of windows.
