[SlimDevices: Beta] Error: Missing firmware

Just received the Squeezebox/Infrant NV+ Nas combo.  The setup went well
but I'm getting the following recurrent error message on the SB3:

Error: missing firmware
Server can't connect to internet to obtain firmware update


Here's some info taken from SlimServer:

VERSION INFO
Player Firmware Version: 48

SERVER SETTINGS:
VERSION INFO
SlimServer Version: 6.5.1 - 10479 - Linux - EN - utf8


What I've done:

* I select Connect to an ethernet network

* Then Obtain IP Address shows automatically...it obtains the address

* I must then select a music source...the NAS is identified and I
select it

* ...and this is where the ERROR: MISSING FIRMWARE message appears (it
then keeps flashing on the SB screen every 30 seconds or so)

* If I hold the brightness button at that point, the SB crashes and the
remote becomes useless


ADDITIONAL NOTES:
1) Even though I get that error message, the setup is functionnal 
since the SB actually connects to the NAS because I can play the music
from the NAS
2) Through that procedure, I'm never prompted to update the firmware
(as is suggested in the wiki)
