Hello,
I tried changing the imagePath so that there is no more --upnp, 

"C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server\slim.exe" --logfile "C:\Program
Files\SlimServer\server\slog.txt" --d_server --d_plugins

Did not produce a log. Neither did 

"C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server\slim.exe" --logfile C:\slog.txt
--d_server --d_plugins

I'll stick to launching it from command line for the time being.
