I was going to post of a similar problem in the "General Discussion"
forum before I decided I better do a little more searching around and
came across this post.

I started noticing this "split second of silence" problem when I
upgraded to the latest nightly 6.5.1 build around the end of November /
1st of December.  I've been updating pretty much daily to the latest
build, and I am still experiencing the problem.  I'm currently running
the 12/9 Linux build, with player firmware 69 on a squeezebox 2.

Is this problem supposed to be already fixed?  Just want to make sure
I'm not missing something.  I'll up my DHCP lease time as a temporary
fix.
