[SlimDevices: Beta] Set up slimsrv service with command line parameters

Hello,
I have the following issue:

SS 6.5.1 10879 fresh install, Win XP SP2, 1gb Ram, P4 2.6 HT.
AlbumReview, Videobox plugins enabled.
Launching slim.exe with --d_server --d_plugins

Server shuts down always after about 15 minutes with this error:

UPnP: Read search result failed: recv failed: Unknown error at
/PearlApp/Slim/Networking/UPnP/ControlPoint.pm line 106
Terminating on signal SIGALARM(14)

I know that I can get around this by using the --noupnp switch on the
command line (yes, I searched the forums) and it will stay up forever.

Now I would like to know if I really need to go through the pain of
using srvany to get this command line parameter enabled?
Is there a way to add some registry entries to get the "--upnp" enabled
in the slimsrv service that was created by the installer instead? I
searched a lot, but couldn't find it.
