Just out of curiosity I've updated my Slimserver to Version '6.5b1 -
8926 - Linux - EN - utf8' using the rpm from the download page.
Currently my server is running on ClarkConnect Home Edition 3.2. Prior
to installing the rpm I was already running MySQL 4 and this seems to
only run one instance of mysqld when viewing in ps.
After installing the rpm I find that slimserver is running fine, but
when I look in ps on the server I get:

If I start and stop slimserver then all these instances start and stop
with it, but it seems strange that the only instance that appears to be
doing any work is the last one (I think).
I understand that the embedded version of MySQL is at v5 - is this
normal to have all these running on 5, or is this something specific to
my server?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers,
