[SlimDevices: Beginners] Best way to use Squeebox Duet with a UPnP enabled Denon receiver

I am not a networking guru but know enough about networking to set up my
*simple* home wireless network - so please if we could keep the response
out of the weeds I would appreciate this.
I ended up connecting my SB via coax to my Denon 3808 this weekend as I
couldnt get the SB/SC to be recognized wirelessly - and now understand
from reading both SD and AVS Forum posts that this has to do with the
SB/SC combo not utilizing the UPnP protocol.
I have a music library with approx 50k mp3's and like the fact that the
SB/SC doesnt choke on a relatively large library - which from my reading
seems to be one of the limitations of the UPnP protocol.
Thinking through this - I'm not sure if it really matters that the
net/usb input on the 3808 can see the sb/sc - in the end the aux input
likely does what I need - BUT - is there any way that I could use the
Duet and connect to my UPnP 3808?
