[SlimDevices: Beginners] Powered Speakers - What to buy

Guys,

Just received my Duet in the mail today, my house would have to be
retro fit for speakers, as we have an old crappy nutone system
everywhere....

I own an apple HiFi speaker, that has an aux in...i guess i can get an
adapter for that one....

but my plan is to by 4 or 5 of the duet receivers and connect them to
powered speakers through out the house ...
like to buy them local....best buy....circuit city.....

what powered speakers do you guys recommend?
