[SlimDevices: Beginners] Unable to play file format

I downloaded the FAAD for windows and pasted it here C:\Program
Files\SqueezeCenter\server\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread. I don't know
how to do this step:

2. Change the mov123 lines for mp3 and flc as follows (taken from wiki
AAC entry). You can add the "mov wav" lines as well. If the executable
in installed in step 1 is called faad2.exe then change the faad to
faad2.

I tried opening the FAAD file but it just closely automatically. Again,
i'm not a computer wiz so layman's terms would be great. I also can't
figure out how to change the settings on if my squeezebox that have to
do with any of this file decoding. Can someone tell me where to access
those settings? Is it thru the SS web interface?
