[SlimDevices: Beginners] 2 squeezebox receivers and 1 duet remote

I'm about to bite the bullet and order 2 squeezebox receivers and 1 duet
remote.  I've been running Squeezecenter 7 for a while now so that I can
stream music to work, but I have never used any hardware.  I would like
to be able to use the duet remote in my main listening room, and then
carry the same remote to where I workout where another receiver will be
and use it there as well.  I know from reading the forums that this can
be done, but I haven't been able to figure out how to do this.  Is it
easy and fast and can it be done from the remote without going into
Squeezecenter?
