[SlimDevices: Beginners] Both Duet components locked up

There's been a heated discussion here:
http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=46643 about how you
should not manually install newer versions but I'm willing to try
anything.

I have a Linksys wrt54gs with 4.71.4 (updated last night).

Hopefully, I'll have time to try it tonight.
