Gone from bad to worse!

I first decided to try the UDAP stuff. That in itself turned out to
cause problems. You have to have subversion on your box to even get it.
Spent a couple of hours getting that to run properly between the
necessary pre-requisites, etc. Finally am able to use subversion to
download the UDAP stuff. Run it and the first command he has you do is
"discover" where it will show you the mac addresses of your devices.
Well it is supposed to anyways. Mine does not. So I'm stuck at that
point.

I decide to go ahead and get my remote and the receiver back to a
factory state. So press the front button until the LED flashes red
quickly. Remove battery in remote and re-install while holding "+". Now
I can't even getit back to where I was. I manually enter my static IP
addresses and it fails totally when trying to find a music source. It
does see squeezenetwork.com once but is unable to connect.

My wireless network is running just fine as shown by my ability to do
this post from my laptop. What a nightmare! Going to keep trying...
