Hope it works for you. 

It should prob be noted that having your server connected wirelessly
isn't ideal (if that's what you mean by Laptop with PMCIA WiFi Card).
May be worth trying ethernet cable from server>router instead if
possible. One other thing I did when 7.0 wasn't cooperating was give
the server, remote, and receiver a fixed IP address outside my DHCP
address pool.
