Hi everyone,

I am thinking of purchasing the Squeezebox Duet, but have a few
questions before I do. The web page says that Apple Lossless is a
supported format. Does this mean that I can assume it is now supported
natively, and will allow fast forward and rewind in Apple Lossless
files? I have quite a bit of music in Apple Lossless, and being able
to scan through tracks is important to me.

If this is not the case, and files must be in Flac to scan through the
file, can someone tell me if it is possible to add an "Artist Sort" tag
to Flac files? I have played with Flac for some time now, but see no
place to include an Artist Sort tag. In my mind, Miles Davis needs to
be filed under "D," not "M." That is the main reason I began using
Apple Lossless over Flac, Itunes recognizes this Artist Sort tag.

I imagine I must be missing this in Flac, since this seems very basic
to me.

Thanks for the help.
Pat
