Check the third-party plugins.

There's one called PowerControl, I think, that does this.

And ExecuteScript can run any script (I'm not quite sure of what
scripts Windows acn use, Mac and Linux use shell scripts).

I don't see how the Controller can turn ON a machine that is shutdown.
But the Wake-on-LAN function, which is built-in, might let you wake a
sleeping machin.
