[SlimDevices: Beginners] Softsqueeze Issues

I had a similar issue a couple of days ago (BTW, ever try the "Search"
function here?).
I uninstalled softsqueeze, and all versions of java.
I then reinstalled 6.3 (the one needed for softsqueeze) and softsqueeze
- and the problem stopped.
I'm, of course, not sure that what I did actually solved things or if
it's happenstance, but it might be worth a try...
