media product.  Unless you go with something that forces you to use a
proprietary system.  What is nice here is you can use what you want to
use.  If you like MP3's go with that. If you don't want to spend money
on a NAS then don't just use the machine you have.  I do that and it
works great.  I like to use flac and mp3 so I have a lossy and lossless
folder for each.  I store my music by Artist/Album/track# - title  This
works good for most programs. Remember you really only hear about
problems.  It's the nature of people. I've been in retail for over 30
years and it hasn't changed, you don't hear the good stuff much just
the problems.  Get it all running with some of the tips you've gotten
and use what you have to store for now. I think using whatever computer
you use now is the easiest way to start.  That way you aren't
introducing more factors that can be problems.  I run an SB3 which from
what I've read pretty foolproof. The only problems I've had have been
from fooling around too much. I've run beta's from the very first and
have been fine but that's probably not the smartest way.  You probably
should be running 7.01 as that's the stable release. Once you get it
going you will wonder how you've gotten by without one. It's worth the
effort.
