Another vote for solid as a rock over here.  I'd say it's one of the
more reliable pieces of consumer electronics I've owned.  My television
has developed dark spots, my DVD player's tray sometimes auto-closes
when I try to open it, my printer sometimes needs to be power-cycled,
but my SB3 is still chugging away without issues.

I'd say you have networking issues, or there's a manufacturing defect
with your particular hardware (i.e. a bad NIC).  Call support.
