[SlimDevices: Beginners] Anyone without problems?..

I will step in as well. I bought my first Squeezebox 2 months ago (My
wife gave it to for my birthday) and I simply downloaded SC 7.0
installed it and connected the Duet to my wireless network and since
everything just played on. So I bought a used SB3 14 days ago. Same
story and now it is playing music in my living room.

I have tried a few plugins. Some are good some are not. The ones that
are good is those that don't interfere with how the music is played and
how the boxes is controlled. The ones that are trying to control the
Duet in a specific way is still betas so stay away from those. SC7 and
the Duet is still very new and the design of the Duet is very different
from the "old" SB3 so it will take a while before the plugins will work
without any problems with that.

Actually the only problems I got was when I tried to connect the SBR to
a wired network. That didn't work until I got hold of tool to give the
SBR a static ip-adress. And now it works with both wireless and wired
network. 

I wouldn't give up my SB for the world. Actually I am just about to buy
my second SBR and put it in my office.
