In answer to your subject line (Anyone without problems?..) you can
count me in as someone without problems. I have several Squeezeboxes
around the house and they work fine. 

It sounds as if you have network problems. And if you want help with
your problems in this forum, you have to provide some basic information
such as what version of SC you are running, what your network looks
like, what OS, specific error messages, replicability, etc. Or you
could call tech support, which is what they are there for.

But if you just want to vent, that's another thing.
