[SlimDevices: Beginners] Broadband down but music continues

Hi all,
Yesterday my broadband went down. At the time I was playing tunes from
my new playlist which continued to work.
In the past my music has stopped, but this time my playlists continued
to work. I have a birthday party coming up, can I trust SB to continue
playing should my broadband go down on the day? 

Hope someone can re-assure me
