Thanks for the feedback. I'll do some tweaking on the instructions to
fix the bugs. But that'll have to wait a few days.

Great! Thanks! Just what I've been looking for. What optimization did
you use when compiling Perl? -O2? -O3? I've also been thinking if it
would be possible to compile the modules the build-perl-modules.pl with
better optimization. I don't know it helps a lot though.
